SSC GD Exam 2023 was conducted from 10 January to 14 February by the Staff Selection Commission. In the next stages of the selection process, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination and Document Verification.

In its physical test, male candidates will have to run five kilometers in 24 minutes. Whereas, female candidates will have to run 1.6 kms in eight minutes. At the same time, the chest of men should be 80 cm and the expansion should be five cm. Apart from this, the height of the candidates will also be measured during PET. After which the medical examination (DME) will have to be passed.
