Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the recruitment notification for 761 Road Inspector Posts in Tamil Nadu Rural Development and Panchayat Department. 11th is the last day to apply for this post. Hence, interested and eligible students are requested to apply immediately.

Paper – I Subject Paper: 07.05.2023 (9.30 AM to 12.30 PM)
Paper – II: Part A – Compulsory Tamil Language Aptitude Test; Section – B General Science – 07.05.2023 (2.00 PM to 5.00 PM)

Educational Qualification: Must have ITI (Construction Designing Officer) Certificate; Preference will be given to applicants with a degree in Civil Studies.
Must possess an I.T.I. Certificate in Civil Draughtsmenship from a Government recognized institute:Provided that preference shall be given to the persons possessing a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Age Limit: General Category should not exceed 37 years as on 1.07.2023. There is no upper age limit for other categories.
Selection Process: The final list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written test.
Candidates who do not secure minimum marks in Paper II Part “A” of Paper 1 and Paper II Part “B” answer papers will not be evaluated.
Only the marks obtained in Part “B” of Paper I and Paper II will be taken into account for grading.
The question paper for Paper I (Subject Paper) and Part “B” (General Knowledge) of Paper II will be set in Tamil and English language.
Candidate must attend all the papers of the computer-based examination. If a candidate fails to appear in any paper, the other paper attended by him will not be evaluated.
Application Fee: The application fee for this is Rs.100. TNPSC one time registration fee is Rs.150. Adi Dravidas, Arundhatias, Tribals, Destitute Widows, Scheduled Handicapped Persons are not required to pay examination fee.
Preference will be given to those educated in Tamil medium:
Priority reservation in Tamil route is applicable for this. Therefore, applicants claiming to have studied in Tamil medium should upload the certificate of studying in Tamil medium along with the online application along with all educational qualifications up to the prescribed qualification.
